About us

The Central Sports Center - Olympic Preparation Center in Wałcz is one of the 7 Centers in the country, specialized in sports training for Olympic and national teams, both seniors and juniors.

The center carries out a public task consisting in creating conditions for sports training conducted by Polish Sports Associations and other entities operating in the field of physical culture, through the ongoing maintenance and management of sports facilities of the Central Sports Center, it is co-financed from the funds received from the Ministry of Sport and Tourism.

COS OPO in Wałcz has been operating since 1949. Since then, we have been constantly expanding our capabilities and equipment in order to be able to provide sportsmen visiting us with appropriate conditions for training, rehabilitation and biological regeneration, as well as ordinary rest and relaxation. The Central Sports Center - Olympic Preparation Center in Wałcz has a wide range of accommodation, which consists of 378 beds, located in 5 sports dormitories and summer houses. All rooms have a bathroom, TV and wireless internet access.
